This event is a regional for Fly Fishing Team USA . For anglers to be eligible to garner points, they must be from Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, or Wyoming. Or they can be from another region and use this as their one competition outside of region for the cycle.

Location:
Tensleep, Wyoming

Event Format:
2 x 2 hr competitor controlled sessions. 

Competition Sectors:
Two sectors on Tensleep Creek near Tensleep, WY. One will be on the state wildlife area near the hatchery near the mouth of the canyon. The other venue will be on the Forest Service land near Leigh Creek Campground. 

Fish:
Brown trout and rainbow trout

Schedule:
8 am - 10 am :: Session 1 
10:30 am - 12:30 pm :: Session 2 
2 pm - 4 pm :: Session 3
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm :: Session 4

Transportation:
Transportation is provided by the anglers on their own.

Angler Limit:
This event will be limited to the first 12 anglers.

Registration and Fee:
No entry fee but you must purchase a Fly Fishing Team USA membership within 24 hours of your registration confirmation. Please WAIT TO PURCHASE the membership until you have gotten a spot in the comp as it is first come first serve for the registration and I can't guarantee you'll get in. The membership is good for 365 days from when you purchase it. You can purchase the membership at the top of the Fly Fishing Team USA page. Registration opens March 6, 2024

No-Fish-Period:
A comp water no-fish policy will be in affect starting Saturday, April 13th at dark.  All other water will remain open.

Draw: I will run the draw Friday night April 26th.

Hotels:
There are a few places to stay in Tensleep with more available in Worland 25 minutes away.
