This event is a regional qualifier for Fly Fishing Team USA in the West region.

For anglers to be eligible to register on the first day, they must be from Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, or California. If you are an angler from another region, you can use this as your one regional qualifier outside of your region for the cycle, but you must wait 24 hours to register to allow anglers from the West region to register first.

Registration opens:

• April 18th, 2025, at 12 PM Pacific Time – West Region anglers
• April 19th, 2025, at 12 PM Pacific Time – Out-of-region anglers

• Event Format: Two, 2-hour competitor-controlled sessions

• Sector 1: Lower Middle
• Sector 2: Upper Middle

Fish Species:

Rainbow, Brown, and Whitefish

Middle Deschutes Session Schedule:

• 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM – Session 1
• 10:45 AM - 12:45 PM – Session 2
• 2:15 PM - 4:15 PM – Session 3
• 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM – Session 4

Additional Information

• Transportation: Anglers are responsible for their own transportation.
• Angler Limit: This event will be limited to the first 12 anglers.

Registration & Fees:

• No entry fee, but you must purchase a Fly Fishing Team USA membership within 24 hours of your registration confirmation.
• Do not purchase the membership until you have secured a spot, as registration is first come, first served, and I cannot guarantee you’ll get in.
• The membership is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
• You can purchase the membership at the top of the Fly Fishing Team USA page.

No-Fish Period:

• A competition water no-fish policy will be in effect starting Sunday, May 4th, at dark.
• All other water will remain open.

Draw:

• The draw will take place Saturday night, May 17th.

Hotels:

• There are plenty of hotels in Redmond (closest to the venue).
• Bend is a good alternative option.
