This event is a regional qualifier for Fly Fishing Team USA in the West region. For anglers to be eligible to garner points, they need to be from: Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Wyoming or California. For those outside these states, up to one event outside of your home region can be used for points for this cycle.

2x 2hour competitor controlled sessions

Team: Please pick a teammate or you will be assigned one. Teammates may share information during the comp and will fish in opposite groups for the draw.

Boise River (Downtown)

Fish:
Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Mountain Whitefish

Schedule:
Session 1: 8:00 AM -   10:00AM
Session 2: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Session 3: 1:30 PM - 3:30PM
Session 4: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Transportation:
Transportation is provided by the anglers on their own.

Angler Limit:
This event will be limited to the first 12 anglers.

Registration and Fee:
There will be no fee for this event. You must purchase a Fly Fishing Team USA membership within 24 hours of your registration confirmation. Please WAIT TO PURCHASE the membership until you have gotten a spot in the comp as it is first come first serve for the registration and I can't guarantee you'll get in. The membership is good for 365 days from purchase. You can purchase the membership at the top of the Fly Fishing Team USA page.

Registration opens September 8th, 2025 at 7:30PM MDT for West Region anglers.  Anglers from other regions will be open to register 24-hours later.

No-Fish-Period:
A comp water no-fish policy will be in effect starting Friday, October 10th at 7 PM. 

Lodging:
Numerous options in Boise, Meridian, or Eagle.  It’s a 10-20 minute drive to the river from pretty much any hotel in those cities.
