This event will follow the current Fly Fishing Team USA cycle. For anglers to be eligible to garner points, they need to be from the states of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming,or California. For those outside these states, up to one outside event may count for points.

This event will be fished on Diamond Lake, Oregon.

After you successfully register, please make sure your US Fly Fishing Team membership is current.

Location: Diamond Lake, Oregon

Event Format: 2, 3hr loch style competitor controlled sessions. 

Fish: Rainbow trout, brown trout, tiger trout

Angler Limit: This event will be limited to the first 12 anglers but could be expanded if more rental boats are available.

Transportation will need to be provided by the anglers on their own.

Schedule: 

Session 1: 9:30 am to 12:30 p.m.

Lunch Break on Water: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Session 2: 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Dinner at Diamond Lake Resort after event at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Registration:

We will be renting boats and splitting the cost across the group. Details will be sent after registration.

You must puchase a FFTUSA membership to register.  You can purchase the membership at the top of the Fly Fishing Team USA page. 

Each angler will fish two 3 hour sessions. Competitor Controlled.

Registration opens Friday, September 23, 2023, at 7 PM Pacific Time.

No-Fish-Period:

A comp water no-fish policy will be in effect for the entire lake starting Saturday, October 5th at dark. There is no practice water for this event because the entire lake will be open during the competition.
