Tactical Fly Fisher Logan Mini

This event will be the first "local" in the new Fly Fishing Team USA cycle format starting this year. For anglers to be eligible to garner points, they need to be from the states of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, or California.

Saturday October 23rd, 2021

Location:
Logan, UT

Event Format:
2, 2 hr competitor controlled sessions. 

Competition Sectors:
Sector 1: Logan River between 2nd and 3rd dam in Logan Canyon

Sector 2: Logan River between 1st and 2nd dam in Logan Canyon

Fish:
Wild brown trout, whitefish, and cuttroat trout. Stocked rainbow trout in the canyon that move out from the hydro dams.

Schedule:
8:30 am - 10:15 am :: Session 1
10:45 am - 12:30 pm :: Session 2
1:30 pm - 3:15pm :: Session 3
3:45 pm - 5:30pm :: Session 4

Transportation:
Transportation is provided by the anglers on their own.

Angler Limit:
This event will be limited to the first 12 anglers.

Registration and Fee:
No entry fee but you must purchase a Fly Fishing Team USA membership for 2021-2022 within 24 hours of your registration confirmation. Please WAIT TO PURCHASE the membership until you have gotten a spot in the comp as it is first come first serve for the registration and I can't guarantee you'll get in. The membership is good until July 31, 2022. You can purchase the membership at the top of the Fly Fishing Team USA page. Registration opens Monday October 11, 2021 at 10 am Mountain Time. 

No-Fish-Period:
A comp water no-fish policy will be in affect starting Friday, October 8th at dark.  All other water will remain open.

Draw: I will run the draw Friday night 10/22 after I seat the beat flags. 

Hotels:
Logan has lots of options. Brigham City is also about 30 minutes away.
